Brittons hill Cottage is on the edge of historic Appledore, a beautiful village with a post office, antiques shop, pub, tea room and 13th-century church by the Royal Military Canal and Romney Marsh 4 miles is Tenterden, an attractive and historic market town with many independent shops, a brewery and a steam railway. The cobbled streets and medieval buildings of the ancient port town of Rye are just seven miles away where there are also plenty of restaurants and pubs a Nature reserve also a busy harbour area

The closest beach is at Camber Sands, 9 miles away, where there are vast expanses of sand& dunes There’s also a sandy beach and traditional seaside fun in Dymchurch 11miles
also Greatstone and little stone vast sandy beachs just a 20 minute drive from the Cottage
Family time
Kids and animal lovers will love the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch, just a ten-minute drive (four miles) away with rare breeds of British farm animals, the chance to meet the animals in the barn, see falconry displays and enjoy tractor rides and pig racing in the summer. More exotic animals including lions, tigers, rhinos and gorillas are at home at Port Lympne Reserve, just 10 miles from us plus there’s more fun to be had on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway which operates one-third sized steam and diesel trains across the Romney Marsh. Hop on at New Romney (eight miles away) where there’s also a museum and model railway. For a full-size heritage railway, head to Tenterden (five miles away) and the Kent and East Sussex Railway.

Brittons Hill holiday Cottage has been totally refurbished and extended to a very high standard in 2017. It offers all the modern conveniences you could wish for in a cottage but still retains all of its character and charms just as a country Cottage should, along with its beamed ceilings and fireplace It’s the perfect holiday home.
Lounge 1 is the original beamed 15th century lounge complete with beams ,two sofas plus a flat screen TV for your enjoyment.
The second living area is a wonderful large sociable open plan family area with a fabulous large cooks kitchen with sparkling white quartz tops and all built in and Intergrated appliances
the family area has a sumptuous electric reclining sofa and two large winged armchairs plus a 50 inch
flat screen TV.
Living area three is a beautiful large conservatory with stunning views over open countryside the conservatory has a dining table and chairs plus a large comfy sofa to curl up with your book and a glass of wine For your perfect holiday relaxatio.
